For the 2026-2027 School Year

Where: Chapel Rock Christian Church, 2020 N. Girls School Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46214

• Classes: Adult English levels from basic through advanced.
• Placement: New students take a 5-minute oral test for level placement. Childcare is provided. Note: If a level is full, you may be placed on a waitlist.
• Cost: $50 for books and materials.
• Childcare: Free childcare and homework help for children (ages 0–11) during your class.
• Time: Classes meet Thursdays from 6:30 to 8:30PM, August to May.

WELL Westside English Language Learning began in August 2024 and is located in the Wayne Township area of Indianapolis.

Six levels of adult English classes are held weekly from 6:30 to 8:30pm.115 students registered for WELL in 2025-2026 school year.

All classes are held at Chapel Rock Christian Church. Childcare is provided free of charge for children of adult English students.

Over 70 languages are represented in households of children in MSD. Wayne and Speedway school systems. The passion to begin English classes became apparent as we realized that our immigrant friends and neighbors desire to learn English in the community where they live.

WELL students seek opportunities to improve or learn English to obtain employment, get better jobs, receive a promotion, obtain higher education in the U.S., or to help their children with homework and understand communication from their children’s school systems.
